My wife and I will be at D'arbonne for the third time this April to fish with our neighbors from Ohio who winter in Texas and who stop in La to fish with their friends(met in Texas) Delma and HP. We stayed at Lesters on the lake as the park was closed the first time and have stayed at the state park one other time.Your park along with the the people of Louisianan are some of the best in this country. We enjoy the dutch cook off almost as much as the fishing but the hospitality of the area trump's it all. Here are a few pics of last year,I'm in the dark blue hat(2nd pic),HP is in the lite tan hat (3rd) and Dick is second from left in 2nd pic) My wife in red sweater in last pic. Thanks again Paul DuLaney (Downtime)

The crappie seem to be in he 10 to 16ft areas and I've had luck with red/orange jig heads tipped with minnow or Keitech 3" sing impact silver shad or black tube/ chartreuse tipped with a minnow.
May all the fish tales you catch be longer than the ones you tell !
