We set out at 7:00 in the morning and the rain had moved out. We were after bream today. We immediately started catching. the rain chased us out at 10:30 with 23 keepers. threw back just as many. Went back that afternoon at 4:30 and caught 33 more. again, threw back just as many. At the end, my buddy threw out a hair jig to see if he could get a bite on a sacalait, and he caught a nice one, about 1 1/2 pound. He threw out again and caught another one. But it was approaching sundown and you have to get out of the lake by sundown so we left them biting. Talked to a guy at the launch when we got out , and he had 14 big sacalait. Hardly any boats right now. So, if you're interested in bream fishing, Miller's is good right now. We caught them on crickets and Berkley power grubs. They look like maggots. I caught just as many on that as the crickets. And a lot less trouble. Sorry, no pics.
