I use one all the time. It's the best new product on the market for an aluminum boat. They make the hull quiet in the wind. You can troll into the wind without that tinging sound of the water hitting the hull. Makes your boat much more stealthy. It's helped my fish catching ratio tremendously especially going into the wind.

BTW, I leave mine on. I don't take it on and off.

I would ask Birddown, I think he's been using them longer than anyone around here.

Hobo, the silent stalker does what it says. It eliminates the noise. I actually get frustrated now when I don't have it or if im fishing with someone else. Even in the slightest wind your boat is making a slapping noise. It takes me 30 seconds to put it on and I leave it on until I get ready to load the boat on the trailer. A lot of guys are leaving theres on and never taking them off. Mine hits running boards on my trailer so I take it off.

Roy Dicken the owner, is a really nice guy and could answer any questions u may have. U can look him up on

They work great. Just sold my aluminum boat I had. And used it on there. And I bought a Ranger fiberglass and I am getting another one built for it. Once you use one you won't leave home without it. And if you forget it you will turn around to go get it!
