Hey guys two questions for you.
1. Do you guys think the last weekend in Feb is too early for spider rigging?
2. Any thoughts on chickasaw hills lodge?

Been coming down the past few years and love it, just trying to get a head start.

Not too early. Got these last week rigging. 0.3mph. Any faster than that and no bite. But the speed can change daily of what they want.

Chickasaw is a pretty nice place to stay. Actually have hunted the area around it, and the accommodations are pretty dern nice. Owned by a very nice family

I went ahead and book a cabin at the state park. I need to find somewhere to stay the last weekend of march State Park and Chickasaw are both full that weekend. Any ideas?

Was more looking for a cabin closer to the lake, but if the hotel route is how we have to go then so be it.

only other option is Holiday lodge.... I would stay in Batesville. Do like some of the other rich yanks I know...buy a place. You can get a house and couple acres for less than a new aluminum boat.
