    It is a lot of money to fork out for something most guys don't do year round. They will save a lot of time when moving from spot to spot and you can put that rod tip right where you want it with ease. No tools is the best part.

    you know if you look back and see where you tried to save money, it cost you twice in the long run. like fish finders i bought 597,798, 898, 858. now i want 1199 and i will get one but i could done had it if i would of bought it first. same way with rod and reels

    I made the switch last year from Lowrance to the 1199 and 1159. Unbelievable what I was missing out on all those years.

    I have really enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and views on single pole stands. Gives me a lot more things to think about as I put the finishing touches on my new single stand SpyderLok. I had one a year ago but just couldn't figure there was enough demand for singles to justify tooling up for one, could be I was wrong?
    Note: I make the single shown on my web site, but it's not my production model. It doesn't swivel at the bottom where the production one will.
