    Man what a tank!! Thats the new Golden Shiner winner aint it?? I like Caney, Havent been there for a few years...my brother lives in Ruston, gonna have to give him a call and make him put his bass gear away for a while.

    Congratulations! Some nice fish there. I may try them one day this week on jigs. Did you even try jigs?

    Tried double jig with bottom weight. Caught maybe 2 of 20 on jig.

    Good job! I was there Saturday also and only had 5 small crappie and a 3.54 bass. First crappie trip there since there were sweet gum trees sticking out of the water at 25-40ft deep with green leaves on them. LOL!

    don't forget the rules......

    1. Must be caught in Louisiana or shared waters (Toledo Bend, Caddo, etc.).
    2. You must be a member of Crappie.com and have at least 50 posts.
    3. You must agree to send this prestigious award to the next winner after the six month period.
    4. The six month periods are from Jan 1 to Jun 30,and from Jul 1 to Dec 31.
    5. Previous posts are allowed after Jan 1 in this time frame until Jun 30.
    6. The picture must include the crappie and you submitted to this thread.

    Haven't heard on any shell crackers. Looks to be about 90% Crappie fishing and rest bass fishing.
