I usually set yo yos 1 time a year at Chicot. It is allowed from November thru February. In previous years, the limit of yoyos you could set was 24 per boat. This year, some genius decided to increase the number to 50 PER MAN !! And don't think that some people won't do it. Here is a pic that someone sent me last night of a guy he knows who had a pretty good haul. Wait, it gets better. Another boat caught 234 in 2 days! Now that just ain't right.
so I set out 30 yoyos yesterday afternoon. Check them at 9:00 pm, no fish. All yoyos are there. Go back this morning and I had 5 in a little group of trees that are all gone. The strings are still tied to the branches. They were cut with a knife. Fortunately, the others were still there, because they could have seen and stolen those too. We ended up with 8 fish. there isn't much I hate worse in this world than a dadgum thief! man, that's a low life human being. I reported it to the front office, but that's impossible to catch. Very frustrating.

50 per man and 234 fish in two days. I'm not going to say what I think about that.

I know I was out there about 3 weeks ago and it was full of yo yo's. How deep are you setting yours.
