Got a pair of new Spyderloks from EZPoleholder yesterday and couldn't wait to try'em out. Got on the lake about 7:00 this morning and got my four 14 foot rods untangled by 7:30. Before I got all the rods deployed I had already caught my one and only fish. Spent the next hour fine tuning all the adjustments to the rod holders then settled down to fish. In a short time I had three jigs hung up in a brushpile all at the same time. With lines crossing and jigs flying I almost said a bad word. Then the wind came up and it was time to go home. There is a learning curve to work through, but I believe spider rigging is going to be fun!

It can be frustrating at times when there is a lot of structure. It is also a ton of fun when you get in a bunch of fish. I use braid on my trolling rods, do not break off as much. Bend the hooks back and go right back in the water. Good Luck.
been there. done that.
You ought to try it with two boys and 8 rods.![]()

A little help for your Poles. put two of those little Clam shell clips girls use in their hair, it locks the line against the pole and don't tangle in the other poles. If you use more then one jig just add one for each jig. Most of the time I have out 4 poles in 5 minutes. I learned this from CDC last year.

one other thing! I also have two small pieces of cord about a foot long with a loop in the end of it. Slip the line around all the poles by the reels, slip the line into the loop and tye a loose knot like a half Hitch --- Put the second line on the same way about half way up the poles and you have everything in a neat easy bundle, easy to store or Transport
