    Default New to Grenada

I will be making my first trip up to Grenada Mar. 18,19 and 20th, staying at Hugh White. If any of you have some good advice to pass along I would appreciate it. I will be coming up from Louisiana, near Baton Rouge. I fish for Crappie (Sac a Lait) here but never caught any monsters like I read about from Grenada!! What might be a good guess on the water level at that time...which boat launch might be best to use...etc....

Any information would be appreciated. A good friend of mine from West Virginia will be coming with me... Him and I have done a little fishing around the country from back in our baseball days!!

Looking forward to it!!! Hope to meet some new friends along the way as well.

    Thanks

Way too early for info. Lake could be 10 feet higher or lower by then. You'll be fine, late March is pretty easy to figure out.

I don't I have ever seen so much interest in just one lake. Nobody even mentions the other big three and certainly not Washington.

If the water is high enough you can use the boat ramp at hugh white, or up the road at piney woods you will pass it going to hugh white, if the water is still low you can go around to wolf creek or the main grenada landing! You can check again as the time get a little closer!

Gets a lot of attention with the big tournaments and the big weigh ins they produce. I live 30 miles from the lake never wet a hook. 20 miles from Enid fished it once last year 5 miles from Sardis can't seem to get away from it. I need to get down there and see what the hype is all about.

I hope it's on fire. Haven't been yet. Your on to something about it being a catfish lake. All the big 4 seems to be heading that way. 2 of them for sure. I tell ya Enid is staying under the radar. The one day visit I was there last year it was awesome. Hit it just right that day I geuss.
