Just found a deal on it and had some cabelas bucks built up on my card. May snag a lake master after hearing the reports. Can compare the 2

so is there any compatibility issue with the hummingbird lakemaster chip and lowrance unit? or is that just a brand name? I know johnson outdoors bought lakemaster and would think it should work with any gps mapping unit.

anybody know if this LakeMaster South East States Humminbird Card | DICK'S Sporting Goods card is the micro sd card?

or does anybody have the lakemaster card in southeast with micro sd chip?

im a bit confused as I am not sure which lakemaster chip to buy because I cant find anywhere online where the ones for sale for the southeast states are just an SD Card or a MICRO SD card ( which is what I have to have)

Lake master cards are much more detailed in the ones I have seen. But I live in arkansas and none of the lakes I fish is covered by lakemaster yet. So I went with navionics. Navionics has done fine for me since christmas which is when I got it. I was going to buy a lake master region card for the one that has sardis on it, but thats expensive for just one lake. Then I found out that Lake Master is about to, If not already, going to start creating accounts, and letting you just buy individual lakes to download on your on personal 2gb or more card. I think the lakes are going to be like $10-30 a piece, which is a much better deal if you only fish specific lakes. That way if I want Sardis, then I buy Sardis ONLY and dont have to pay for all the other lakes I'm not going to fish. Much better deal to me.
