Just tie a slip knot around your minnow . Use those.Trained Blue Attack Minnows that Remus has. The minnow can slip out of the line , throw a little kung-fu fighting on the fish. They surrender and swim to the top so you can net em. Oop's I forgot you and CK threw the net in the lake.

My first thought was not tie a hook on. Ofish beat me to the draw with a really good way. Get the net!

I tell you there is a fountain of knowledge on this site. Hard to get help like this anymore.

BDog, don't fall into the Ofish hurtful comment crowd. To be honest, I don't think Ofish even owns a fishing rod!

I better stop posting those Wylie 3lb club crappos. It looks like the jealous flag has been hoisted big time.
From now on, I'm going to post average, little Ofish and CK type,1 year old , trophy fish.

A cheap, effective method for making a hook semi weedless is to take a small, dental rubber band and loop it thru the hook eye and stretch it, attaching it to the barb. This is also an effective way to keep live bait on the hook.
