    That is the only way we fish Sardis. Can get a limit most day and sure if fun feeling that thump. But I fish for fish, does not matter to me how I fish. But have a buddy that will only use one pole one jig no minnows. every month he goes to Sardis and gets limits after limits of big slabs..

    Infielder, not to worry...you're just the first in a looooog line of folks that will ask that same question. G has already gone thru 9 dead horses since I came on here a few yeas ago. lol Its a topic that gets worn out every year. Its' all good fielder. Keep askin'...its how you learn and get info

    Fish can be caught on a single pole. The guys that do it successfully most of the year are very good fishermen. I want to try drop shotting suspended crappie with a double rig out in open water. kinda like the bass guys do. Would be a change of pace, and ya get to feel em smack the lure!

    Don't worry about the dead horse thing, there are more dead horses around here than most glue factorys

    Habitat day is right around the corner . Had about 150 folks last year . Take a handheld gps and mark till your thumbs fall off .Hope to see you all there .

    usually on 1/2 sat . in Feb . will check and post . I normally do at least Enid and Sardis sometimes as well as clean up day .

    All I do is single pole now. I've pulled cranks in the past but it's just not the same. Been trolling twice in two years. Only time of the year I don't catch them is winter. I'm hunting that time of the year.

    Trolling IS the devils work btw. Not much skill involved there. Lol. Stir stir stir
