Thread: Erling report anyone?

Made it down to Erling today. Slow slow slow, but my friend and I did manage to bring 7 crappie back home for just enough to eat. We caught several throwbacks and we both hung and lost some better fish. Also had to watch out for flying cormorant $hit dropping everywhere from the trees above.

A special thanks to the friendly fishermen who were willing to share their advice with us today. Everyone we spoke with today were very nice and friendly. Looking to go back maybe next weekend. GTT

I was there last weekend and the water was coming up fast and getting dingy. I suspect it will take a little while to settle back down. I may be there next weekend too. Heard one report of catching 15 one afternoon and only 1 the next. What were the water conditions?

Still dingy, but not muddy. Water temp was 40 degrees according to the depth finder. Other fishermen told us that the lake is up from what it usually is. GTT

Wow if that temp is correct that's about a 7 degree drop in a week. That's pretty significant I would think. If I make it down there next weekend I'll be in a basically white Stratos boat, mercury 125, with a c.com sicker on the windshield. If you see me holler at me. I'll most likely be in the area I told you about earlier. Did any of that info help you any?

All of that information helped me. Thanks again. We put in at the IP park and just kinda moved out to the left and hung around the trees in about 20 fow. I'll look for you if I go. Supposed to be in the 50s. Nice fishing weather. GTT

Last Thursday the bite was still off. That's all I know about.
