Made it down to Erling today. Slow slow slow, but my friend and I did manage to bring 7 crappie back home for just enough to eat. We caught several throwbacks and we both hung and lost some better fish. Also had to watch out for flying cormorant $hit dropping everywhere from the trees above.
A special thanks to the friendly fishermen who were willing to share their advice with us today. Everyone we spoke with today were very nice and friendly. Looking to go back maybe next weekend. GTT

Still dingy, but not muddy. Water temp was 40 degrees according to the depth finder. Other fishermen told us that the lake is up from what it usually is. GTTQuote:
