My wife got me one from the honey hole for an early Christmas gift. I used it today for the first time and loved it so much I'll be buying one for my dad. Very sensitive and was pulling slabs out of 12 fow in heavy cover with ease today. It's my new go to jig rig.

Bobby Phillips (who used to own the honey hole and then sold it but continues to work there) started modifying a bnm ultra lite secveral years ago by scraping off the foam handle and replacing it with a rear seat cork blank. Extremely sensitive and very lightweight. I own 4 of them. 3 10 footers and 1 11 footer. This is what the wohali is built off of. They used his pattern specifically. He still does them but not as much because of his arthritis. I think David does some also. He even numbers them and will put your name on it. I love mine and you can fish with them all day and won't feel tired at the end I te day. I'm an ozark rod dealer but if I'm single poling I have my custom "honey pole" in my hand. I use my ozarks for trolling because they have more backbone.

Wohali crappie rods
Bluethunder. I've got two of Mr Bobby's honey poles I've had now for probably ten yrs.
Now B&M makes a rear seat BBUL so I got three of those too.
Having said all that I don't feel the need to get a wohali now knowing they're BBUL blanks

Make no mistake. That wohali is a good rod but until I wear these out I'm not changing. I've never put a more sensitive rod in my hands.
