Thread: Wohali crappie rods

I Do have One -- I am not shure about it being a B&M Blank --- It does not have a IM-6 blank but it is a IM-7 ..... It is the very best of all the Crappie Poles I own. I think it has the most sensitive tip of all my poles and it catches big fish without worrying about the pole breaking. Buy one !!! You may decide like me you will be back for another one

Thanks Fish on Line. The salesman told me that they were B/M blanks that Wohali was using to build these rods. They are IM-8 graphite which is pretty nice. RM George, Honey Hole is located on north 7th street just off Cypress in Monroe.

Street is right but it's in West Monroe. I have an 11 foot Wohali and a 10 foot B&M. Don't really favor either. Both are great rods.

I bought an 11 foot Wohali from the Honey Hole last year. It is the first pole in my hand now. I still use a 10 foot B&M in the other. I think the B&M is more sensitive, but that may be because it is shorter. No problem swinging in the slabs with Wohai either, the pole has good backbone.

Just when I thought I bought my last rod you have to mention his one. I guess I have room for just one more. (Lol)

WOHALI makes a great crappie pole. My favorite model is call the "Steel Eagle" and my favorite length is 10 feet. The first fish I caught on the first one I bought a couple of years ago weighed 2 3/4lbs and came out of a top on the Ouachita River. I've paired it up with one of the Wally Marshall Solo reels and the great balance makes you feel like you're holding a feather in your hand. On Tuesday I added a 2 1/2 lb & 2 1/4 lb crappie to it's credit and topped the trip off with a 30-35 lb buffalo that took a 15 minute fight to whupp.....hate to admit it, but I now have 5 Steel Eagles !....they also just came out with a similar pole but is stiffer with more backbone, and is a bit heavier......Try a WOHALI, You'll love it !
