    Default Fishing discount direct

Ordered two cards of hal flys from them and have not received them.
Have emailed with no response and called them and the number is not in service.
They did not charge my card so it has basically been a waste of time waiting.
    Just FYI.
On the other hand if someone has a proven source for hal flys let me know.

Back in the day, mid 70s, my buddy's secretary was Hal Barber's daughter in law. We had first hand info on how to fish them and what colors worked best. Red, silver, white was the crappie killer and black, silver, white was best for bluegill. He sold the company and they don't tie them today like the old ones, but they still catch fish.
We trolled one rod with 4# test and caught a ton of crappie, never heard of long lining or spider rigging. Hal published a brochure on how to troll at different speed and depths. That was the beginnings of my crappie fishing.
Sorry to get off topic, but Hal Flys have a special place in my fishing memories.
This is another dealer, but I buy mine locally so I don't know anything about them.

Thanks, I'll have to try the red silver white.
My favorite is red green yellow.
You have to watch Amazon, I thought I was ordering a card for 15 dollars and received only one.
They gave me a refund with no problem.

The red silver white that we used had a red head, a silver tinsel thread body and white marabou tale. They had to be hand tied and were too costly to meet today's production demands. We tie our own now based on their design.

Try bigbaits.com. They have a pretty good selection of Hal Flies and are reliable.
