Wow! Thats a big aquisition. So Do you think that will mean all Rangers will be rigged with Mercury? Mercury better up production of the big optis if so.
Bass Pro Shop GROUP did buy out Platinum Group which includes Ranger, Triton, and Stratos. They are NOT going to lower the quality, and they are NOT going to sell them at Bass Pro Shops. The only change will be the ownership. The quality will stay the same, and the plant will still be in Flippin.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
Except Tracker Marine I take it. I believe they learned real quick after the Seacraft and Mako purchase that lay up schedules and resin mixes are not to be played around with. True they had some growing pains and poor quality the first few years making glass boats, but I have not seen or heard anything out of the ordinary lately.

The next to the last sentence also applies to me.
I just acquired the Ranger Aluminum line and I know the details. This has been in the works for awhile, and Platinum Group made approximately 10 times their investment and cashed out. BPSG was wanting to enter the upper end of the business. They already own the other end and didn't need anything else for that.
Money Talked, and Platinum Walked!!!!!!
I just wish BPS would hurry up and get The Pyramid done!!!
