    Default Bonne Idee 12/9

Had to fly solo today, 40w had yard work to do so I stayed close to home and hit some local water.

Fished from 6:30 to 11. Fog was thick till almost 9. Caught all my fish on jigs round lay downs and docks. The dock bite picked up after the fog burned off.

Ended up with 28 but no giants in the box today. Probably threw back that many as well.

Broke another rod tip today, that's the third one this year and every time I've had braid on my pole. Has anyone else had this problem? I usually break it swinging the fish to me and today I was taking a fish off, didn't think I was in any danger of breaking a tip when it snapped.

11 ft bucks best ultra lite, I've fished the same brand for maybe ten years and it had been several years since i broke one till this year but i'm on a roll this year and the more i think about it i believe this is the fourth tip this year. I guess it's a good thing B&M sells the tip for $15 off their website....

Yep, it's always on a small/medium fish. I like my B&M BBUL and i try to be careful with how i handle it but this is getting ridiculous.

Nice Box 20W. I'll probably jinks myself but haven't broke a tip in a while using JB's pole or my Slater poles.
