Can't win for losing. Took off an hour early to run the carb cleaner through the motor at home and think it's gonna work. Revin like it hasn't in a long time. Then I noticed the motor wasn't per if n had to shut it down. It was to start with but sometime in all the reving of the motor it quit peeing. Thought it was a clogged hose but noooooo. Took the hose a loose at the motor n nothing out of there either. Grrrrrr guess it's time for another impeller which just got replaced less than a yeR ago and less than 25-30 hours on the motor

Am assuming you checked for dirt dobbers in the hole?

DD, go ahead and replace the whole thing if you haven't before, housing, lower plate and be sure to do the gaskets under that plate. Mine was a pain and seemed to go thru imprellors too often so I did as Tracy at Performance Marine suggested and I have had no probs in over a year, 14 PSI at 5700rmps running 63 on the GPS and slanging a roostertail Wanabe would be proud of!!!!

Talked to Torch who has the same motor n I'll Check between the intake n the plastic pee tube at the top of the motor. Everything was supposed to have been changed out less than a year ago

Dirt dobbers get in mine...I push a piece of weed eater string thru it...last time the clog was past the hose and in the bLock....punched it out with the weedeater string and squirts good now. aLSO BE CAREFUL REVING ONE ON THE WATER HOSE AND MUFFS....THERE IS NOTHING TO GOVERN YOUR RPMS WITH OUT YOUR PROP IN A LAKE.....YOU CAN OVER REV AND BLOW YOUR MOTOR UP.

And even with the hose turned up on hi you cant get enuff water with just the hose at higher RPMs.

Been doing it for years. Remember, I put my boat in salt water so I probably run mine like that more than most folks. Ain't a rookie by no means
