    Default Guntersville Limit

Fished in the freezing fog at Guntersville recently and limited out with 30 crappie in a wild and woolly 3 hour frenzy. I decided to try and beat the fog and got to my spot by boat at 3 a.m. It worked. Just light fog when I put in, then it rolled in heavily after I tied up. By 4 a.m. you couldn’t see a thing. Those delicious crappie are stacked up like they are every year when the water surface temp hits the magic number range. It was such a beautiful drive, too, both en route and returning back home.

Larry I have been killing them for a while now. Like you said they are stacked up if you find them.

The one on the lower left looks like it has horizontal stripes. Definitely a Crappie but it looks weird with the stripes that way. Anyone else notice that or am I just weird.
