tips on firs trip to Weiss
I'm going to be fishing Weiss lake in the morning. I've read that guides are catching spider rigging along the old coosa river channel. Can anyone give me a little direction on maybe where I need to put in and what general area of the lake to start.

We found them on the main lake deeper end of the lake off the channel drop offs. Caught over 300 fish in 3 days and brought home 150 keepers so we had a good trip. No monsters like we are used to catching in Mississppi, but a lot of fish in the 11 inch range. One 14" crappie was the biggest.
