    Default Monroe 11/29

Just got in from Lake Monroe, Tom and I put in at Moore's Creek ramp and headed to Allen's Creek. The wind was a little rough crossing the Dead Sea but we made it without a drop of water on us. Pulled into the Creek and it was pretty calm. Wind was out of south. There was two other boats in there with us but they were Bass fishing and as usual they were not doing any good. Started throwing some jigs around tree tops out over the creek channel, no good. Moved over to the channel were the rope swing was and started catching enough to keep us happy. Not real big but had a half dozen that would stink up a biscuit. Sat in twenty+ f o w and threw at tree tops. Used 1/16oz jig heads with orange/chat 2in tubes with nibbles. Also caught a good mess of white bass and some yellows. Was real nice just to get out. Hope this was not to much info for some. But that area is like a community hole and besides I don't think there will be a mad rush to that spot till maybe March. Have a good day all.

Good to hear you made it out. I have restrung all of my ice rods and am waiting on hard water. I've been deer hunting to kill some time, but when the ice finally arrives it will be game on.
