    All fish were picture and released to be 3 pounders one day! Black and white crappie are starting to chew!

    Thank you! I think its a shame to kill the big ones! I want and hope the world record crappie comes from Buggs. Doing my part in realeasing the big girls for our future investment!

    I couldn't agree with you more, I release all the big ones and hope to catch them when their 3 pounds and larger. Great post and pictures, thanks for sharing.

    I think most of us release the bigger crappie. I release all fish over the 13". Those are some nice size fish. Great report and great pictures!!!!!!!

    Great Pics! Those are the big breeders if we all let them stay in the water and keep the stock up. They're just like cattle; you don't slaughter your best breeders in the herd. If cattlemen did that, we'd all be eating fish - - - if there were any to catch???????

    Buggs use to hold the world record. My friend caught it back in 90's 4.8 lbs

    Couldn't have been a world record. These are SC State records and neither is a world record. Both caught way before the 90s.
