Has nobody been fishing, or nobody is posting? I don't think I've ever seen the VA board this quiet. Get out there and get some fish!

Been out to the mountains chasing smallmouth and rock bass. Will shift back to speks soon. Will gladly report success and or failure.
The last few times I went out I didn't get enough for a meal, but I mostly haven't been getting out, hopfully that will change later this year and next year.

"fish on!!!"
(What a great day for fishing) lol.
I am starting to get back into fishing more but am only averaging 20 crappie per trip when last year I averaged 43 and 55 the year before so it's been slow for me with not much to report. I got 29 last Saturday in Suffolk with the biggest right at 1lb.

had to cancel next couple days for weather. hope to get down Thurs.
I have had a good summer crappie fishing and have posted a few times. Things should pick up here real soon.
Been fishing for those speckle trout the last month. Its time to get my boat on some rivers and catch a mess!!!!!!!
we fished yesterday from Longwood up to Bluestone. the mud line is rite above Bluestone, but we fished a couple brush piles up in the muddy water an caught some crappie off of them! Done real well on nearly all the places we fished. had a couple dozen keepers an threw back several 12 inches an above, some of the biggest were 18-20 ft deep in 25-30fow. Bucktails an BGBS were both gettin bit. Caught a few on the spoon. caught some nice average keepers up in Grassy, 1/2 -3/4 pounders. the lake has come up about a foot.
