    Has anyone caught slabs out of crab orchard this year? I've caught nothing but dinks. And a lot of them.

    Crab has been dead for a few years as far as I'm concerned.
    DNR says not enough shad, remove as many fish as you can.

    The disappearance of weed beds has not been addressed but I'll bet it was a major contributor.
    I've noticed lily pads suddenly appearing in strange areas around the lake now for some reason. Guess they are trying to save the bass population.

    I actually went there yesterday and the bass were very active. I caught several 12-14"ers and one at 17"s. Dink crappie are abundant.
