Charlie I ran them 4 hrs. at 225 was going to a internal target temp of 180.....they stalled out at four hrs. at 166 so I kicked the temp up to 250 for 30 more minutes.....hit the temp right and let me tell you they are fine....tender and moist. All I did was sprinkle some Bad Byrons and some Southern Backyard seasoning on them.....the combination of those two makes a great rub. I couldn't wait until supper....I had to eat one lol

They sure look good. I had that happen to me on some bone in chicken breast the other day, had to hit em a little harder. Been using that stuff SlabLapper posted about and it's pretty good.

I love chicken on the grill but for some reason, I don;t like it slow smoked. I've tried beer can chicken and different ways of doing it, I put mine on the egg at 350 and cook it with no extra wood. Skin gets real crispy that way. Looks dang good though G. I'm meeting Nessa at Keifers for a Gyro and a beer. She's working on my 50th Bday party (nov 1st) and has a couple ERRANDS to run after we eat to set things up for the party.
