Default Deep Fork River in OKC for crappie?

I fished it about a week ago with a spinner bait below the bridge at MLK Ave and had little success catching any crappie. A few perch and a bass but that was it. Anybody know of any sections of the river close to OKC that have crappie? Thanks!

Might check out below the meridian bridge, nice looking lay downs etc. Never tried it but I can just dream where they are hiding every time I go over it.

Thanks for the info! Which Meridian bridge though? Could you give me a nearby intersection? I might just check that out once I buy some minnows! That way even if there aren't crappie, I might just get lucky and catch a catfish!

I do not want to anyone's parade but Deep Fork starts at NW 39th and Barnes. SW 15 and Meridian will be the North Canadian River.

Just have to park your car over around I-35 and sooner area. Several places to walk too. Heard there can be some excellent white bass fishing.
