    I'm just using Krylon spray paint...the trick is getting a good clear coat like the Envirotex...it'll make an average paint job look like a good one!!

    How are you getting the two tones that even with the spray paint?

    lots of trial and error of course but I usually paint the belly first then hold the bill of the bait about 18" from the can and spray a line straight down the back...the Krylon has a spray tip that makes this easier than other brands giving the bait that faded in look
