Default Wheee. Busy weekend so far

Cooked bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, pastalaya, shrimp fritters and made a romalaide sauce for the State game. Then picked a 5 gallon bucket of possum grapes and after it was all said and done, it made 12 1/2 pints and 3 pints of Jelly. Can't wait to try that and hope it's as good as I remember my moms being. Oh one last thing GO STATE!!!!

Roasted gabonzo beans. Bought a couple cans, then rinsed n drained them. Got them real dry and put in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. I mixed a couple table spoons each of olive oil and Cajun spice mix and coated them good and back in oven for 15 minutes. They were awesome

OK. So just for a dumb yankee, what are possum grapes? They just wild grapes, or something else? Either way Don, you makin' my mouthe water.

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.

lt's a wild native grape that grows in the south. Doesn't get but about a fifth the size of a regular grape. Coons, possums, and us rednecks love 'em.

X2 Man those shrimp look good.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
