I hear ya.....yep. if I catch more than a cat or two I change colors. You ought to try planer boards and catch a 7 pound cat on one.....will tangle every line you got both sides of the boat before you can get it in.

The mini boards work ok unless your using a trolling weight with a small sized crank like a Arkie and then I prefer the larger ones. Without using trolling weights and just running a Bandit 300 sized crank the mini boards are ok.

hey, put a pic of these weights on here. I am curious to see what they look like. I too have fished the egg sinkers, but they put an awful bow in my rods. thanks

At 3 ozs they gonna bow your rod no doubt. Need to check for hitchhikers from time to time, a small one may not give you any clue he is there.

I have tried that G, doesn't seem to matter for me for some reason. Maybe it's a Toledo Bend, or Louisiana thing. I plan on doing the push thing with Scott's weights anyway just for fun. He is going to send me the 3 oz. weights, we'll see.

No....he does not have a website....lots of info from time to time on the MS board about pushing from time to time. I fish with Scott some and we push and pull at the same time. This summer for some reason we have had more luck on the push poles.
