    Default First Time Spider Rigging.

Yesterday I mounted my homemade rod holders and sonar pedestal. Today I went out to my honey hole to give it a try. I kept 14 sacs. All but one were blacks. I lost a nice one at the boat. I tried all colors and they wanted black and chartreuse road runners and sunfish colored cranks. I even found 7 new brush piles. I think I am more excited about the finds than the catch. 2 of the piles looked like whole willow trees sunk. They were full of throw backs. I had a couple of double hookups. It sure was nice sitting under the sport-brella with the dry north breeze blowing. Name: 20140813_203429_resized.jpg

Man that all looks good. I have a Bimini top, but I am goonna rig up and umbrella like that. The B. top is kinda in the way if 2 of us are in the boat and it doesn't shade you up front.

I paid $36 at Sam's 2 weeks ago. Make sure you make a base that pivots easily so you can move it out the way and to follow the sun when needed.
