    Default Berry Lake

Which is in the back of BY U Sorrel. Use to catch plenty in this area before Andrew

Been out of town for a few weeks. Had to get my fix. After seeing the Sorrel report before church this Am. I thought I can make a PM trip there.

Caught a few tightline in the buttonwood but tired of that. They ended up being my bigger fish. Most of thee rest were caught swimming a 3tail.

Seem to catch 3 eleven inch bass (kept one)to one sac. What happen to all the 13" fish I use to catch before the rule change?

Kept a couple of goo for PPG and one nice blue cat for mom ma and a few bream for the folks at work.

Lots of muddy water. Tugs were moving barges. No water movement that I could tell. No wind, muggy and yes the skeeters were out.

Almost forgot. Got to meet another LW&F enforcement agent in the ICW on the way in.He Wanted to see my kill switch lanyard. It' was around my wrist.

Welcome BHB, Keep me (us) posted on your trips. I'm always looking for an excuse to head west and fish the spillway.

First time I've met that agent. He was courteous.

That area (Berry Lake) I'm sure was hit hard over the weekend. Must have been 1/2 dozen boats back there around 3 pm Sunday. With more in and out. Amazing the amount of fish that area holds.

My final count was 1 bass 2 goo 3 bream 1 blue cat and 18 sacs. I'm thinkin a after work trip one day this week.
