    Just make sure you run it in the water before you shell out the cash. Most boats are ok, but engines are expensive to buy or fix, and the engine is usually what's wrong with a used rig!!! Don't just run it on a hose. You need to put a load on it to check it out properly. Might want to take a compression, and leak down gauge also!!!! Pull the bottom plug on the lower unit and check the fluid for water (it'll be milky), and metal shavings (it'll be gray colored or have metal in it), and it should smell like 80/90 hypoid gear oil, and not burnt smelling.

    Congrats on a great boat tho!!! Them Rangers are nice!!!!!

    I went & looked at this triton this mornin, just as the ad said, the boat is immaculate, the boat was big & beautiful. I loved the boat but I was intimidated by it lol
