Triton makes a good boat. The trolling motor might be a little light for a boat that heavy. 71 pounds will be ok most days, but when the wind gets up, you'll be wanting more tm.
Make sure you keep oil in that Merc.![]()

Tr 21 with 225 optimax on it, it looks like brand new, has low low end graphs and 71 lb thrust TM. It's a 1999 but looks like new, good gel with minimum scratches

Thx speck, my f and f sure did good on rough water, wonder how these boats do? Also eyeing that 690 on the board, I sure do like that setup
Note the forward position of the port and starboard rod locker boxes and envision where you would put your seat bases left and right can be done, but not without compromise.
Wannabe...v2.0
A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Here's the NADA on the Triton

You WILL NOT be able to beat the ride of that 690
Absolutely no way I'd be looking at any other boat that has the same price tag as that 690, there ain't any comparison in the two. Put it this way, a bunch crappie fishing Triton owners out there wishing they had a ranger fisherman, willing to bet there ain't no ranger fisherman owners wishing they had a triton
Hate to say it But I agree with Rees....Your not going to beat that 690 Ranger Fisherman
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
