    Default Skunked at Santee 6/25

I tried jigging brush in Jacks Creek with no luck. I usually tight line but I thought I would try something different. Jigging is definitely a technique u got to have a lot of practice with. I marked some brush on the dp but it's hard to know if u are on the brush with wind blowing the boat. The water temp was 84/85.

One thing for sure, you have to be on the lake "trying" to catch em Stay after them and you will learn the craft of jigging the brush. Thanks for the report and good luck

That's why they call it fishing and not catching. Better luck next time

When you get a chance, post a pic of your mouth. I need to see if you were holding it correctly. Better luck next time around, brush fish can be finicky at times.

Atleast you spent some time on the water trying to catch a few. Congrats on finding time to just being there and better luck with the fishies next time!
