Got out about 6 AM this morning on Big Allison. Fished deep for bass for couple of hours. Put 3 small bass in the boat & missed 3 more. Finally, caught couple of perch on a spoon so I started cutting 1 up for bait. Caught 35 perch & 2 cats by 11 on the cut bait. All in about 23'. For the first time this year, all but a couple were good size. Several were over a pound.

good deal Charles we been working on um pretty good at wateree too put near 500 in the boat in last couple weeks.

Good trip. For some reason I have not been able to get them on cut bait. I tried small fillets about the size of a minnow but did not have any luck with them. This was after my two GKs went through 4 doz minnows in about 45 minutes.

Way to thin the population. I have never tried cut bait on perch. Feed em all my dead minners when the crappie wont co-operate. Thanks for the report. And you more than Welcome to come out and join our little band of misfits day or night.
