D10, are these hybrids sterile or will they reproduce?

They can not reproduce with each other, but I have read some published research that says it is possible for a female white bass and a male hybrid to cross breed. The eggs of female striper and hybrid eggs must drift for so long after being fertilizer for them to remain viable. This is not the case with female white bass eggs because they do not need to be suspended to remain viable.

We have seen some fish that had characteristics of both white bass and hybrids. We have been documenting these fish with pictures and genetic samples. We eventually plan to find if they are indeed F2 hybrids (hybrid striped bass x white bass). We are not exactly sure what all of this means. But we figured that at a minim we should document it until be do figure out the implications of these F2 hybrids and their progeny.

It means these vermin are pomiscuous as all get out, and will breed with a cypress stump to make yet another undesirable that feeds on poor innocent game fish!!!! There needs to be a Fish Hitler somewhere to get rid of all the cross-facets of these nasty things. They taste like boiled fish eyeballs, too.

Other than that, I have no opinion on the matter.

Site won't let me reply with a quote. So both the male and female are fertile but the atmosphere is not conducive for the eggs to hatch.

Yes. The chances of female hybrids or striped bass reproducing are slim to none in lakes. It would take a male hybridizing with a female white bass to make it work in a natural environment.
