Thread: Bladder/UTI infection -important clue for elderly

If your have an elderly parent or grandparent that you are around a lot watch to see if they are imagining things or seeing things. It is a BIG symptom of bladder/UTI infection in the elderly. It is strange that is a symptom in the elderly but it is. The infection is bad when that happens. Get them to dr for meds.

Crazy how infections/fevers can do that sort of thing to someone. I have heard of people with high fevers having episodes like that. The fevers were probably caused by some sort of infection I am sure.



On a lighter note. I know an "eldery" from West of here 16-17 miles that always imagines himself catching big fish and lots of them. He then makes "photoshop's" pictures on the computer to try and make his illusions come true. We thought it was a more serious issue than a UTI Will see if we can get him to drink some cranberry juice instead of coffee at the coffee shop/gas station in the morning.
