    Given this is a long weekend and the Crappie are mostly in transition from post spawn to summer mode What would you do on the big G this weekend?? Long line/ spider rig or pull cranks?? See how many Jet ski's you can take out??

    Personally I am gonna leave the crappie to their transition and target some bluegills and crackers if I can turn a prop.with all the people playing this weekend

    We are not even gettn close to Martin on this holiday weekend. We rented the cabin out.

    Got me 100 crickets,gonna rig a couple jigging rods w/ #4 hooks,comal styro corks,and lil splitshot,,walk 150 yds.to where I feed the bream,hope to keep some big uns for a fry down,let the dog chase the throwbacks,,,and enjoy being home in th woods,,all other ventures lately have failed miserably,,,,really shows how bad I am at this when a guy drives up to the store with an oil drain pan fulla 90 heads and backbones he rode up to bury in his garden,,I have a lot to learn,,but don't have $1k sidescan,,oh well,,yall have a good safe holiday,,,,

    I think longline would work but I am set to troll cranks so that is what I will try on Gville if I brave it the next couple of days.

    We were thinking cranks maybe ,too, Call, but this early since we are still learning are not sure if they would be in the summer areas yet. Maybe shallower creek channels ??

    Try the area between spawning and summer haunts. Some fish are in summer areas already.
