Thread: Gill bite was good today.

Had one of the best days gill fishing on Barren I've ever experienced. Two friends and I caught well over 200 gills and several red ear to boot. Actually the first red ears I've ever caught on Barren. Had a blast, all three of us hooked up at the same time numerous times. Everything seemed to work, crickets, red worms and wax worms. All but two red ear, especially the females, were released.

That's great ! You are the 2nd person that has posted about catching redear in barren.. KDFW must have slipped some in on us.
