Haven't had some since the Toledo gathering. If I recall, you folks tore that up. All tenderized and ready to go:
Mean while I strolled over to pick a couple of berries:
Put some shrimp in there just because, all done:
I figure I'll pick another couple of gallons of berries tomorrow and call it good. Life is good.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Defrosting fish to fry for Mae's uncle and aunt tomorrow in Albuquerque. Not sure what else with it. Also brought him some Louisiana etoufee mix from Tony's. He loves it. But forgot the community coffee. (we drink folgers and did not think about it. Enjoying the weather. Warm, clear and super low humidity.
looks good
Danny, while you're there, take the cable tram up to Sandia Peak. Very nice in the mountains, snow skied there several times many years ago. Also, as far as I'm concerned, New Mexico grows the finest green chilies anywhere. Don't leave until you have some green chili stew.

Now that is a good meal right there. Wish someone served that close by here. You folks that travel the area where can you find good fixin's like that. I am getting hungry again and ready for a short road trip. Thanks for the post and pictures Randy, sure looks fit for a King. Ferdi

Randy, had some stew yesterday. Always eat some out here. The tram ride is not our cup of tea. Besides wind supposed to be up to 40 mph next 2 days. The rv bouncing will be enough of a ride. Fish fry went well. Aunt has eaten good last 2 days, Uncle said best she's done in months. Really perked up for us. (she's 86) So happy to make the drive for Mae's sake, but sad to see them slowing down. Tomorrow I'm cooking chicken etoufee. They are happy about that!!
Funny, when I read "defrosting some alligator" I knew that it would be a post from Randy! Looks awsome Randy!
