I've been thinking about doing the same. Need to reseed one and Shane and I need to clear a couple more spots. Our turnips and beets came up good last fall and they sure do like them

I have some time off this week ,and with the colder weather messing up my bank fishing plans , I decided to work on my food plots for deer .
I mowed an acre of weeds , and plan to spray with round up soon , then plant turnips later in the summer .
Also cleared two stand sites . I got a lot done today . Should pay off in the fall .

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.TnRidge LIKED above post
They tore my turnips up early last year .i plan to plant more this year . Hopefully they will last through late season .
Scott if you enjoy yard work come on over and in return I could hep you sit in those stands this fall.
We going do that tomorrow cut grass at camp fix busted pipes from the freezes and cut plots
good plan, had some trees cut and cleared brush, sprayed and got some seed bought, soybean and corn, always plant big patch of trunips, for me and the deer,,,,,,,, never to early to start, But be carefull of the roundup, some stuff wont grow if planted to early.........
I need to move a few stands also and do some trimming. Going to start a couple more plots this year also. It's a lot of work but I love seein the big one come in.
Semper Fidelis!
