    Default Walleye fishing Kansas

A bad start to the new season . Fished 3 different Lakes .4 total trips used 18 gallions of gas in the boat . Lets see 16 walleye on Milford Only 2 keepers, Melvern with the grandson 4 caught missed mabe 4 more. Was going to try Clinton But Ron talked me into Perry. caught 9 Sauger befor trying Crappie should have stayed on the sauger. Biggest was a little over 17" no keepers. all came in a 2 hundred yards area. I guess thats why they call it fishing not keeping. Iv'e got till Sept. to turn it arround befor my fish fry .This will be my 30 th year of putting it on. So the pressure is on and now it time to go fishing.

Good luck to you on the next trip! Growing up went with my uncle and his wife to Minnesota every summer/fall to fish for walleye. Such a good time. So much fun to catch, so great to eat. I've never tried for them around home however. Something I'm definitely going to try and get into this year I think. Just have a lot of learning to do, we always went with his guide buddies haha.
