    Default Oconee Sat 4/26

It was a beautiful cool morning, we fished 3 of our favorites spots and fish were scattered from 12 to 30 plus FOW. Had 24 keepers with best fish a 1.85 from 12 FOW on Blue Shad. Colors were Blue Shad/Ice, Bubble Gum/Char, Popsicle. Got hot shortly after lunch and we came in for a nap before taking toon out for first night fishing trip in a long time. I saw all the nice LEDs that everyone have been putting outside, inside and every place imaginable. So with the help of my wife we put LEDs on the toon and they performed great. Keep the bugs out of boat and fantastic light on water. We fished the night shift close to landing and kept 35 more and left just after midnight (fish were still biting).

Fishing ain't over, looking for a spawn on May moon on Oconee, been a late spawn this year. Water temps were 63 in morning and 69.9 after lunch. We have some rain and cool nights coming this week so temps should hold.

Glad you caught them. Still some nice fish out there. Going to get back on them next week after my trip to Shell Island.
