anybody have a suggestion for how to handle these things, other than hook a fish and hope it comes a runnin?
Spot light and a .22 is pretty efficient. Try checking around early morning and evening times. Someone on here may have an idea on how to trap them, maybe bait a trap with some fish. I'm just betting you have a very large coon population also and will have to weed thru them if going the trapping route.

We have a few, and I have some snare traps, but I think the gun and spotlight sounds more my speed. may dump some fish guts in the lake after cleaning and see what that produces.
