    I would have that welded.

    I would take it back to a welder and let them look at it and see about putting a weld on it !!! that's what holds the boat down on the trailer I wouldn't trust just the 5200 !!!

    It's through bolted with a backing plate. No worries there. The hull is 10+ years old with no problems in the bow or eye, except for the leak. It's the water coming in that needs to stay out, and that's what the 5200 would do. The eye itself is solid too, no wiggles.

    Plus, I think the eye is stainless and the hull is aluminum. Actually, the eye is definitely stainless. Can't really weld the two together. A new all aluminum eye would be surgery.

    Or duct tape, long as it's structurally sound and solid just plug her up
