I would take it back to a welder and let them look at it and see about putting a weld on it !!! that's what holds the boat down on the trailer I wouldn't trust just the 5200 !!!
It's through bolted with a backing plate. No worries there. The hull is 10+ years old with no problems in the bow or eye, except for the leak. It's the water coming in that needs to stay out, and that's what the 5200 would do. The eye itself is solid too, no wiggles.Quote:
