Default In the Heat of Battle

While Spider rigging with my Partner CrappieGreg during the Tourney on Dardanelle we ran into a school of Strippers as four poles were blasted all at once. One stripper hit two of my rods at once as another took off with another one of my poles. At the same time Two of Greg's poles went off and we were trying to battle four stripper's all at once. It was more than two fisherman could handle and the bow of my boat looked briefly like we had just went through hand to hand combat with the fish. Rod's laying aimlessly about, lines broken off and stripper's laying on the bow of the boat flopping all over the place.

Shortly there after we got re-rigged and set up and ran into a school of nice crappie where we got four hits all at once. Here again rod's up out of the holders, lines crossed, rods snagged in brush, wind blowing...Partner screaming for the net...his war buddy trying to rescue him, while trying to catch poles going down and slabs of his own. .

It was a complete and utter CHAOS and a free for-all at one point in the BATTLE as my seat peg broke at the base and looked as tho I took a 380 round right in the chest and I went flying back on my Arse with my ole trusty crappie rod in-hand.

One Second I am right next to Greg Battle'ing it out on the front lines with the Silver Hoard and the next second he looks over and see's me looking up towards the sky's. Crappie Greg yelled "Man Down!!!, Man Down!!! MEDIC !!! MEDIC!!!.

How could you concentrate on fishing with "strippers" laying all over flopping around. More than I would have been able to take!!!
