Thread: How's Reelfoot Lookin?

well the fishin trip was great. but the weather wasnt. we fished three days with one day lost cuz of mother nature. but we did get em on that friday. my buddy gtojoe came up from georgia and he was able to put us on the fish. spider riggin in 16 ft of water right off the bottom. guys around us were wondering what we were using. i told them, that we had a great friend who knew where to find them. we sure did! caught around 50 in about 4 hrs. glad we got em then. cuz the next day the weather kept us in on a 10 hr game of cards and beer. thats what fishin is all about. good friends and great times. cant wait to do it all over again next year. go get em boys!

Sounds and looks like ya'll had a good trip hj. Congrats Lynn thats where I've put in the last five times that i have fished the foot and i cannot count how many boats have put in and took off across the lake wide open or come in wide open. With my luck i wouldn't have a motor on my boat. I just ease in and out and tick two or three stumps everytime.

Glad to see ya'll got some nice fish. Looks like it was a little chilly out on the water. We're heading down in 2 weeks (wives wouldn't let us go Easter) and staying at Eaglenest. I think we will be hitting 'em just right so we won't have to be as smart or work as hard as hard as you guys.
